I bought this pickup for my nightbird project. I looked everywhere to try and find a suitable replacement thats not a seymour duncan and this is one of the few i found. i love how it has different color combination options and most importantly it sounds fantastic. I comapred it to my 77 gibson explorer with t tops and it is farly conparable. it knows when to be clean and how to be clean as well as has a nice distortion tone when broken up. it was definately a good choice for me and im sure a good choice for anyone looking for a good nighthawk replacement.
